Step 1: Requirements for the subscription form

  • Updated

Ungapped's subscription form creation tool is available to all subscribers, regardless of user level.

With Ungapped's subscription form generator, you can easily create forms to collect contacts/subscribers from your website. The generator is user-friendly, allowing you to easily design your form to suit your preferences. However, to embed the form on your own website or create pages for 'successful' or 'failed' registration, a certain level of technical understanding and knowledge is required. This means you need access to your web administration and potentially some knowledge of how your website works, as well as how to handle HTML and CSS.

The image above is an example of how a subscription form might look on your website

Summary of steps:

  • Create and design the subscription form, including the data fields you want to use.
  • Define a list for your new subscribers to be added to.
  • Create and define a webpage for 'Successful registration' and 'Failed registration' (created on your own website).
  • Create and define a webpage for the 'Confirmation page' (the page a user lands on after confirming their subscription, also created on your own website).

You can find the tool in the black left-hand menu by clicking on 'Web' followed by 'Subscription Form generator'. You can now create a new form by clicking the button: 'Create new form'.

Now that you are more familiar with our subscription form tool, you can proceed to step 2. Below you will find links to the different parts of creating and publishing a subscription form on the web
