The e-mail never arrived? How Message Trace works in Microsoft 365
Sometimes e-mails don’t behave the way you expect. They don’t show up, get caught in spam filters, or simply vanish. That’s when it’s helpful to know about Message Trace – a tool in Microsoft 365 that helps you find out what actually happened.
With Message Trace, you can follow an e-mail’s journey through the system:
🕵️♀️ Was it sent as expected? When?
📬 Was it delivered to the recipient? When?
🗑 Did it end up in spam, get quarantined, or blocked along the way?
Whether you're troubleshooting a delivery issue, verifying that an important e-mail was received, or investigating suspicious activity – Message Trace might give you the answers you’re looking for.
