Copy event

If you need to host an event with the same content as a previous one but on a different date, time, or location, you can simply copy the existing event and adjust the necessary details. This saves time and ensures consistency.

How to Copy an Event

  1. Select "Create New Event".

  2. The "New Event" page will open. Choose the event you want to copy by clicking on its turquoise name in the list.

  3. You can find the event by:
    • Searching for the event name in the search bar.
    • Filtering by tags, drafts, published, paused, or completed events.
      (Note: If you select "New Event" instead, a blank event will be created.)

  4. In the "Copy Event" window, select which parts of the event you want to duplicate:
    • Event details
    • Registration form
    • Confirmation emails

  5. Click "Copy".

  6. A copy of the event will be created, and you can now edit its details. The new event will be named "Copy of - [Event Name]"—don’t forget to remove "Copy of -" before publishing!

  7. Click "Publish" in the top left corner. Your event is now live and ready to accept registrations and invitations.
