If you need to host an event with the same content as a previous one but on a different date, time, or location, you can simply copy the existing event and adjust the necessary details. This saves time and ensures consistency.
How to Copy an Event
- Select "Create New Event".
- The "New Event" page will open. Choose the event you want to copy by clicking on its turquoise name in the list.
- You can find the event by:
- Searching for the event name in the search bar.
- Filtering by tags, drafts, published, paused, or completed events.
(Note: If you select "New Event" instead, a blank event will be created.)
- In the "Copy Event" window, select which parts of the event you want to duplicate:
- Event details
- Registration form
- Confirmation emails
- Click "Copy".
- A copy of the event will be created, and you can now edit its details. The new event will be named "Copy of - [Event Name]"—don’t forget to remove "Copy of -" before publishing!
- Click "Publish" in the top left corner. Your event is now live and ready to accept registrations and invitations.
