If a person sends an SMS containing your unique account code1 along with a keyword to a certain phone number2, that person’s phone number will be added to a specific contact list in your Ungapped account.
EXAMPLE You place the following ad in the newspaper: “Do you often forget to put out the trash bin? Send an SMS with ‘Company GARBAGETRUCK to +46700861012,’ and you’ll receive an SMS reminder the night before the garbage truck arrives.”
Company = the unique account code – necessary for Ungapped to know which Ungapped account the phone number should be added to. GARBAGETRUCK = the keyword – necessary for Ungapped to know which contact list within the account the phone number should be added to.
-
You can see your unique account code when creating a new SMS – it appears pre-filled in the text field "Unsubscribe: SMS account code OUT." The account code is also visible when you create the keyword. If you’re unsure, contact Ungapped support. NOTE! You cannot change the account code yourself. If you want to change the account code, you must ask Ungapped support for assistance.
