Insert unsubscribe or web version link

  • Updated

According to the Marketing law, recipients of your e-mail campaigns MUST be offered a clear, simple, and free option to unsubscribe. The easiest way to do this is by including an unsubscribe link.

  1. Write a clear unsubscribe message somewhere in your email.

  2. Highlight the text.

  3. Click on the link icon 🔗

  4. Go to the 'Action' tab.

  5. Select 'Unsubscribe' and then click the Insert button.

  6. Save.

Insert web version link

You are not legally required to include a link to a web version, but it’s good practice to offer one in case the recipient has trouble viewing the email in their email client.

  1. Write a clear “view in browser” message somewhere in your email (ideally at the top, as that’s where recipients are most likely to expect it).

  2. Highlight the text.

  3. Click on the link icon.

  4. Go to the 'Action' tab.

  5. Select 'View as webpage' from the list and then click Insert.
